Where does Mr. Collins see and treat patients?
Mr. Collins holds clinics at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital in Fulham and at 152 Harley Street. Waiting times can vary depending on Mr. Collins’ availability, but we aim to see all patients within four weeks.
How can I make any appointment?
To book an appointment please contact us directly via our website or call us on +44 (0) 207 846 0072.
How long will my appointment last?
We usually allocate 60 minutes for an initial consultation. Before any surgery or treatment a further appointment may be required to ensure full understanding of the procedure and pre and post-operative care required. This also gives the patient an opportunity to ask questions that may have arisen after the initial consultation. There is no charge for the follow-up appointment if it is within three months of the first appointment.
Following the appointment you will be sent a summary of the consultation with a proposed treatment plan and full quote for the costs of the treatment and post treatment care.
Is there a consultation fee?
Yes, you will be invoiced for your initial consultation. The fee for a consultation is £250. If you are a self-pay patient you will be asked to settle your bill before you leave.
Do I need to pay a deposit prior to a consultation?
A £100 deposit may be required to secure an appointment. Cancellation less than 24 hours prior to the consultation will result in forfeit of the deposit.
Do I need a referral from my GP?
Self-pay patients do not always require a GP referral letter. Mr. Collins is happy to see patients registered with insurance companies. A referral letter from your GP is normally required for an appointment made in this way. You will also need your insurance policy number and authorisation code.
How much will my surgery cost?
Following the initial consultation a detailed quote for surgical fees will be provided with the anaesthetic and hospital charges included if applicable.
If pre-operative tests are required you will be informed prior to any surgery the costs of the tests. A non-refundable deposit of £1000 is required to secure the proposed surgery date with the balance of the invoice for surgery paid a week before the surgery.
